Ingredients and Allergens

For Goodness Bakes cakes are made with quality ingredients that are free from animal products and ingredients processed using animal byproducts. Many of our ingredients are organic or made in-house, and the quality shows up in taste.

 

According to the FDA, 7 of the 9 most common food allergens include milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. Currently, our line of plant-based gluten free cakes are free of all of these common food allergens except peanuts and tree nuts. Cakes and cupcakes free of all 9 common food allergens are available through custom order. Currently, For Goodness Bakes offers complete allergen friendly cakes in the following flavors:​

  • Chocolate

  • Black forest

  • Strawberry

  • Lemon

  • Chocolate chip cookie

 

All cakes sold and labeled as "gluten free" are made only with certified gluten free ingredients. I understand that those who order gluten free cakes have varying sensitivities to gluten. As such, I do my best to prepare gluten free cakes with equipment and utensils that are freshly cleaned, and precautions are taken to avoid cross-contamination. Even still, cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed, as our gluten free cakes are prepared in a kitchen that also processes gluten.
